Imagine LIMP BIZKIT, BIOHAZARD, SLIPKNOT, CLAWFINGER and SICK OF IT ALL would spent a holiday in Switzerland to produce a new album together. It would surely be a dream that is coming true for every fan of 90s Nu Metal/Rap Metal and modern Hardcore Metal. What if we would tell you, that this dream (nearly) became true and that the new album “Hypocritical” of the swiss band SICKRET sounds exactly like this?
Hard and merciless the riffs are hammering their way through the Swiss Alps:
Since the founding of the band in 2010, SICKRET has played over 100 shows in 6 countries, where they convince their fans with dynamic songwriting and awesome stage presence. SICKRET are masters of the Nu Metal-, Crossover- and Hardcore-Genre, and show the audience how this mixture should sound nowadays.
After their success in the “KUFA Hardcore CUP”, where the four guys won against numerous other bands, more concerts were following, where SICKRET were sharing the stage with bands like SICK OF IT ALL, PRO PAIN, SKINDRED, BREAKDOWN OF SANITY, ABORTED, FIRST BLOOD and more. After the band released their debut-album “Pointless Appendix”, which was widely appreciated, SICKRET received an EMP Support-Deal in 2014, and, only one year later, a tour in Cuba and a tour in Eastern Europe was following, just like many single shows inside and outside of Switzerland.

What are we searching for, if it is all about loving, missing, hoping or, in one word: feeling? Isn’t it intensity, authenticity, absolute simplicity in absolute complexity? It’s the search for a world of its own, that unites everything from never ending depths to staggering heights. And despite this world is everything at once, it still stays one unity.
Wherever words are not enough to describe such a world, people have tried to put it into music. But only few made it that perfectly as the “new romantic of present time” of MODEL DEPOSE from Groningen, NL. They combine the immortal attitude from Icons such as THE CURE, DEPECHE MODE, PLACEBO and SPANDAU BALLET with their completely own mixture of Synthpop and Indie Rock and create a sound that is unique, authentic and intensive at the same time.
Initially in 2009 the five musicians of MODEL DEPOSE were inviting their audience to their world. Now, some minor releases later, the guys from Groningen are back with their debut-album “Splitting Light”, where they reinvent themselves once again. With “Splitting Light” the musicians from the Netherlands made it to create a whole world in 14 tracks, that is bursting in emotion of all facets. Intensity, authenticity and absolute feelings combine themselves to a unity, that nearly never was to be heard before, rather than to be experienced.
The heart-capturing voice of Roeland van der Velde and the instruments of his band-colleagues make this experience accessible not only to the heart, but to the ears as well.
An example is the song "Nightwatch", which already has absolute hit-potential and enriches the creation of MODEL DEPOSE by another wonder of the world.
So, what are we’re searching for, when we feel? Maybe there is an answer in the music of MODEL DEPOSE. Anyway, “Splitting Light” is a good starting point for all those seekers.

The world is no field of flowers, and everyone makes the experiences at least once in a lifetime, that where the light exists, there is also darkness.
DARK SIDE EONS is a duo from Poland playing Electro-Industrial / Electro Wave. Leszek "Morph" Trzaska (vocals, guitar, compositions) was a singer and bassist in many metal / hard rock projects since year 2000 and he created Dark Side Eons in 2012. Together with Kate "Moonskin" Trzaska (synthesizer / programming), which joined the band in 2014, the two musicians started to play their first shows already in the same year. The debut album, which was created between 2014 and 2016 contains 12 energetic songs, that transport the feeing to take a journey though endless depths of human soul, through the universe and the wholeness of a life. Every song tells it’s own story and the multifacetedness of the whole album are not at least the result of the various influences of Minimal, Dark Wave, Gothic Rock and Post Punk, that give DARK SIDE EONS their unique sound. So, whoever wants to step into the transcendant world, that can be created with music, should not miss to discover „Eclipse”!.
